Senior Manager, Nissan Advanced Technology Center

I am currently a senior manager in Nissan Advanced Technology Center, where I lead the Machine Learning, Data, & Cloud pillar. My team consists of data scientists, researchers, and data engineers working on state-of-the-art generative AI research and applications, data-driven decision making, and machine learning models for predictive analytics. Previously, I was a senior research scientist in ETS AI Labs, where I researched and developed novel generative AI, machine learning, and natural language processing algorithms for educational applications. Prior to this, I was an assistant professor in the computer science department at SUNY Binghamton.

I obtained a PhD in Machine Learning from University of Maryland, College Park, Masters in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Pondicherry University. My research spans structured prediction, statistical relational modeling, fairness, transparency, and explainability in machine learning, natural language processing, and probabilistic modeling.
